Grasmere Lakeland Sports and Show 2007 will take place on Bank Holiday Sunday August 26th.

Joseph's Amazing Racing Pigs - 6 rare breed pigs whose amusing antics will include racing to take hurdles in their piggy stride. The pigs will also be on display all day, so don't forget to pay them a visit.

The Top Lodge Dancing Dogs - A team of 3 people who demonstrate a captivating harmony between dog and handler that will take your breath away. The dogs enjoy meeting the public after their performances. Go over to their rest area and say 'hello'.

Soaring/Hang Gliding - A spectacular and exciting addition to our line up in the last 3 years and returning for 2007 - weather permitting! This year for the first time, the Northumbria Hang Gliding Club will compete against the Cumbria Soaring Club. Para Gliding takes place at 1.05pm and 3.30 pm.

Pete Bland of Pete Bland Sports in Kendal will for the second time, be offering a special Bounty of £500 to anyone who breaks Fred Reeve's 1978 record of 12 minutes 21.6 seconds for the Senior Guides Race .
